No games on this day previously… so I thought what else could have happened in Pompey history on this day and referred to Roger Holmes` excellent book ‘On this day`. Drew a complete blank there as it is one of the few dates where Roger`s research turned up blank. Maybe something will happen today to break that trend – news of a takeover perhaps.
