The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Portsmouth and Southend United this Saturday.

Portsmouth host Southend United on Saturday November 18 for the game at Fratton Park and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Assistant Refs: Simon Knapp and John Farries
Fourth Official: Justin Amey

Match Day referee Boyeson has officiated 15 games in 2017/18, showing 40 yellow cards and six red cards.

He took in 36 games in 2016/17 returning 139 yellow cards and ten red cards.

His highest card count that season was the game between Wimbledon and Charlton Athletic where he showed seven yellows and one red.

He took in 31 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 102 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Fleetwood Town and Wigan on December 28 with nine yellow cards shown. Prior to that Crewe Alexandra and Eastleigh in the FA Cup on November 7 saw six yellows and one red. He also showed six yellows and one red between Burton and Rochdale in September. Seven yellows with one red were also shown in February between Bury and Barnsley.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
