The Football Supporters Federation – FSF – ‘No To Gam£ 39′ action meetings taking place against the proposed ’39th game’ overseas are moving on to Yorkshire, Humberside & North Midlands tonight, Thursday 21st at 7.30pm and onto Birmingham tomorrow, Friday 22nd at 7.30pm.

Action meetings have already taken place in the North West, London and the Northeast. For more details on the FSF action meetings click here.

Despite Fifa present Sepp Blatter recently expressing his opposition to the idea Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore is refusing to let his ‘game 39’ proposal go and the Football Association are hearing more on his proposal today, with it expected that a year-long consultation with the Premier League on the idea will then take place.

With Blatter against the idea, this does help but these action meetings will also help, but to make sure they do even more as many people as possible must attend to give us even more chance of getting this absurd proposal thrown out – as it should be – once and for all.
