Some probably will not care although it is always interesting to see what is going on outside of Pompey world. MickTait looks as who most think will come down from the top flight.

I think it is 8 games to go before three clubs take that fall from grace that we suffered last year, although none of them were docked nine points.

The overriding favourites with 29% of the vote we Wigan, well let’s be honest they have been mighty close for ages now and their first season without Titus Bramble we think they will fall.

Next to Wigan you voted Blackpool at 15%, so we think they have nearly twice the chances of Wigan of staying up, personally no I don’t think they will but as Keegan once said “will love it” if they do. Holloway has brought a breath of fresh air this season, which for a Manager who has had as many clubs as him must be great.

Next is harder as we ended up with three clubs on 12%.

I think of those two it has to be between West Ham and Wolves. Probably because of another season of off the field garbage I would prefer to see West Ham stay up and let “Uncle Avram” walk out perhaps sending Karen Brady a text. I’m happy with Wolves; I have held a grudge ever since their Manager took his reserves to United last season and cheated his own supporters.

Newcastle I just can’t see sorry. I have a similar view about Fulham as well. That leaves in my view the contenders as Birmingham, Blackburn, West Bromwich and Aston Villa. Prior to Roy Hodgson taking over at West Bromwich I thought they were nailed on, but he has been here before. Remember that last game of the season against Fulham…. So I think for me it’s Birmingham or maybe Blackburn.

My preferred bottom three is Wigan, Wolves and Birmingham/Blackburn.

So let’s revisit in a few weeks and see where we are then. The final percentages were

Wigan 29%,
Blackpool 15%,
West Ham 12%,
Wolves 12%,
Newcastle 12%,
Birmingham 10%,
Blackburn 5%,
West Bromwich 3%,
Aston Villa 1%,
Fulham 1%
