Niko Kranjcar was Pompey’s the player of the month for October! Not my vote, yours – although these findings from pompeyrug’s poll are thoughts that I completely share.
I have – as has Harry Redknapp and so many of you – waxed lyrical on Kranjcar recently, so it was little wonder he was voted the star performer from last month as he was absolutely fantastic.
He came with a big reputation last year, and after initially finding it a little difficult to settle he worked on his fitness and his all-round game to become one of the most complete midfielders in the premier league.
Kranjcar has been fantastic, but he will get even better, he is a midfielder that is destined for stardom.
What the poll asked – ‘Pompey’s player of the month for October?’
How you voted – Niko Kranjcar 45%, Benjani 24%, David James 9%, Sylvain Distin 7%, Glen Johnson 3%, Papa Bouba Diop 3%, Sean Davis 3%, Sulley Muntari 3%, Sol Campbell 1%, Hermann Hreidarsson 1%, Other 1%
Current Poll – We managed to pick up 16 points out of the last 18 on offer, could we do the same – or better – from the next 6 games.
Had Benjani not missed the injury time penalty against West Ham we would have won all 6 of our previous 6 games, but what are we expecting from the next 6, this is want pompeycarpet wants to know with this – ‘how many points will Pompey get in there next 6 games?’ Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.
