We get to know a little more about Pompeysno.9.

1 – Vital Pompey username?
Pompeysno.9

2 – Where do you come from/where do you currently live?
I was born Pompey, then moved to Waterlooville, now I’m in Winchester.

3 – How long have you been a Vital Pompey member?
About 3 months. (Written in late March 2008)

4 – What do you think of Vital Pompey? Be brutally honest!
It’s a good site, and it’s updated regularly so it’s always interesting. I would say that Vital is much better than forums like Pompey Rivals.

5 – How did you find out about Vital Pompey?
About a year ago I went on Google at work (I work on a computer at a printing company which uses OKI stuff) and typed in ‘Pompey’ to see what came up other than the official website, found Vital and I started reading the articles then. However, I wasn’t that happy when I first read it because I found Traore had signed!

6 – When did you first watch Pompey live – not on box unless this is the only way you have been able to see them? Not necessarily at Fortress Fratton though.
My first game was in 1996 against Birmingham, it was a 1-1 draw. I can’t remember who scored for us. Things have changed a lot since those days.

7 – How often do you get to watch Pompey?
I normally watch 5 or 6 games a year, I often have to work at weekends so it makes things awkward. I’m looking forward to some magical UEFA evening games though.

8 – Who is your favourite Pompey Player – current and/or former?
Toddy, who can forget his goals in the season we went up, I was disappointed when he left last year, but Defoe is like a much better version of him so I’m sure in the future he will become a Fratton legend.

9 – What is you favourite Pompey moment?
Pedro’s goal against Man City, it was such a turning point for us that season. Before then it seemed certain we would go down, but after that game I felt we could stay up, and of course we did in the game at Wigan, which is one of my other favourite moments. Beating Man U in the cup was also an amazing occasion but if we hadn’t stayed up who knows what would have happened to us.

10 – What are your realistic hopes for Pompey in the future?
I think realistically we should be looking to finish 5th or 6th for the next couple of years, with a bigger squad I hope to see Pompey progress well in the cups and hopefully get better every year.

PLAY UP POMPEY!
