knocker – nickname from when I first became a chef.
2 – Where do you come from/where do you currently live?
Born and bred Portsmouth a stones throw from fratton now living in Thatcham.
3 – How long have you been a Vital Pompey member?
A couple of weeks, have been reading the site for a couple of months and finally thought I’d join in! (Written in early February 2008)
4 – What do you think of Vital Pompey? Be brutally honest!
I’m still finding my way around the site but what I’ve seen so far is very good, honest fans with honest opinions.
5 – How did you find out about Vital Pompey?
Found through going on a website called newsnow.co.uk.
6 – When did you first watch Pompey live – not on box unless this is the only way you have been able to see them? Not necessarily at Fortress Fratton though.
My first game that I can remember was Liverpool at home when we were in the old first Division in 87 I think we lost 2-0.
7 – How often do you get to watch Pompey?
Not very often as have 2 small children and work shifts but try and get to the Reading game away as it is on my doorstep.
8 – Who is your favourite Pompey Player – current and/or former?
Current favourite is Distin sheer class and all time fave Prosinecki, never will we see better in a Pompey shirt!!!!!!!!!
9 – What is you favourite Pompey moment?
Darren Anderton putting us 1-0 up against Liverpool in the FA cup semi sitting on the step I stood on to watch while 15,000 Pompey fans went mental around me!
10 – What are your realistic hopes for Pompey in the future?
I think we can achieve European football this year as I think we have the best squad outside of the top 4.
