How about this for a thought?

We all believe that we will be ‘scratching around’ for ‘freebies’ and ‘cheapies’ this summer right? So how about this for a thought?

I know the guy has had a ‘difficult’ 12-months or so, to say the least, but how about we take a punt on Leroy Lita?

I, and others, have often mentioned his name in the past – I know he has not exactly had the best of times for the past 12-months, like I say, but given a fresh start, a clean slate and ground rules laid down to him do we really think that he would not jump at a chance of a return to the premier league?

Afterall, he has just been released by Reading so is available on a free – he would be worth a punt right?
