Remember Berlin Nlome-Ndebi – better known as Berlin? Well the fella who signed for Pompey a couple of years back after a successful pre season trial appears to have left for good?
Over the summer the word was that he had left anyway, then all of a sudden he appeared in the reserves again recently, something which some of us saw as being a good thing for the future – as we spoke about in the forum.
But the BBC are now reporting that ‘Crawley manager Steve Evans is pleased to have signed the former Portsmouth striker on a short term contract’, the key words being ‘former Portsmouth striker’ – which would imply that he has gone and will not be coming back.
So it would appear that Berlin will never take our breath away…
