Pompey will be sitting in 6th place in the league when the month ends! Not my vote, yours – although these findings from auntwallop’s poll are thoughts that I do not quite agree with to be honest.
The way the league table currently looks, a win over Sunderland with results going our way could see us into 6th, but I would think even with a win – which we must be looking for if we seriously want to get a uefa cup place, or even a champions league place – the best we could get is 7th, but this will still keep us right in the hunt.
‘On paper’ we have one of the ‘easiest’ run ins so we really must be fancying our chances of a top 6 finish, although it is still not something that I am expecting I seriously think that we have a chance at the champions league place you know fellas – we just need to find a real run of form, if we have a run like earlier in the season the world will be our lobster!
So, for now I would ‘settle’ for 7th come the end of the month, this will set us up nicely and this is the place I feel we will be in…
