Kanu is reportedly interesting Australian club Gold Coast Galaxy.
The newly formed club have close ties with David Beckham’s American club LA Galaxy, and are set to join the Australian A league with it ‘said’ they would like to have Kanu on board…
Kanu’s legal representative Samuel Okoronkwo is not ruling out such a move, but the priority appears to be a stay with Pompey: ‘Kanu wants to play football. We would discuss Australia if things were not to work out at Portsmouth’.
I like Kanu and he does still have that bit of magic about him but if I were totally honest I think that I would be happier if he did move on – but not until the end of the season… so if he can play his part with us until then and then move on then this would probably suit all involved?
With a contract extension about to kick in, if this does it would require him to agree not to extend this, which maybe he would not do – but as said he wants to play and I am not sure he would play much next season?
