Where is Hermann? Question answered

People have constantly been wanting to know where Hermann Hreidarsson was? How serious his injury is? When he will be back and so on.

Well Gary Sadler answered this on pfcTV today, although this video was clearly filmed earlier this week: ‘Hermann just wants to play and to train and he’s almost there – he’s about 95 per cent there and could possibly be back in full training by the end of the week.’

So, there you have it The Herminator is on his way back from his foot injury – I said in the forum that I would be ‘surprised’ if we saw him before the early-mid November as it did seem, what last week, that he was still 2-3 weeks away?

Clearly I do not know but if he is 95%, just wants to play, is out of the treatment room and possibly back in full training this week the sooner we can get him into some reserve games the better. I know it is not a reserve game but could Stoke in the league cup next week come too soon?

Although that said the important thing is we do not rush him back though as older bodies do take longer to heal and the more you push them the harder it becomes to heal, this can then see injuries start to mount up and become even harder to recover from.

Sadler also mentioned a blast from the past OJ Koroma – I was not sure if he was still with us, but it seems he is.

He is back in training after some ankle problems, which needed surgery, so I guess this is another option that we could look at in the reserves soon?

The best thing is we have a fairly quiet treatment room, and that is good to hear!

It seems as though The Herminator is not the only one that ‘just wants to play’, as PFCblue has drawn our attention to something that Guy Whittingham told The News today about Jamie O’Hara.

The on-loan Spurs midfielder actually asked to play for the ressies last night! What a refreshing attitude – click here.
