To be honest with you I just have not been arsed to delve too much into The Sun achieves recently, I cannot stick the paper – I do not buy it and would not buy it, not so much because it is so ‘anti-Pompey’ it is unreal, but more so because over the years I have found out more and more about it and the vile, offensive and downright disgraceful claims that it made against Liverpool fans after the Hillsborough disaster, gutter press as its very worst!

You cannot get much lower than The Sun for me…

Like I say, I do not go routing around The Sun online, which online is the only place I will view it, and even then this is only ever when I see something on newsnow – ok, if it is at work I might have a quick butchers during my break, but just a quick one mind!

My cage has been rattled…

As it happens I actually missed the follow-up to the weekends ‘Pompeygate’ article from that disgrace to his profession Shaun Custis on Tuesday and it was not until I was in the forum on Tuesday night that I came across a thread from PompeyFcMad titled, The Sun Investigates Pompey? that I actually found out about his ‘follow-up’, Pompeygate: Special Sun Investigation.

I did not read it, the images at the top with ‘the letter’ to Sir Dave Richards which again, well actually says and not claims that Thaksin Shinawatra is part of the takeover of Pompey was enough for me!

Enough is enough now, it is time for Pompey to say to Custis and his paper The Sun that ‘we will see you in court!’ The Sun, among others to be fair, but mostly The Sun have made allegation after allegation against Pompey and it is time to take action…

People would argue that most journalist ‘make things up’ or ‘bend the truth’, but not all are like this. That ***’insert your own choice of words here’*** Curtis seems to be the worst kind there is and is a liar, a sell-out and will do all he can to ‘get a story’, even if it means ‘making it up’. Other papers do not take him seriously and I know, although some were ‘tempted’ to run similar stories to his original ‘Pompeygate’ one at the weekend did not as they knew there was not enough of that vital ingredient ‘evidence’ to back claims!

Despite this, incredibly he and The Sun continue to run with this…

Although sometimes it is best to ‘ignore things’ if we truly do have nothing to hide I think it is time that we not only, not that we should need to, saw another statement from Pompey denying the latest claims, but we also saw within this statement words highlighting our intent to take legal actions and then actually followed through these words with physical actions to show him and The Sun up for the charlatans they are!
