007 was asked 5 quick questions, this is what they said.
Everyone is expecting further improvement. I would just like consolidation and more attractive play, with certain players showing more commitment and consistency.
UEFA Cup, it’s got to be good for Pompey in many ways. It’s a chance for a number of players to be seen in competitive games who would not normally play. That in itself is exciting. Cannot judge our performance, it depends so much on the draw.
I will not name three players, but emphasise that we need a wideman who can go around the outside as opposed to just cutting in, a playmaker and a left back/central defender.
One player to go, obviously Utaka, I do not believe he will come good. Controversially, Campbell as I think his lack of mobility will become much more apparent, or Muntari who could sometimes get a job in Hollywood as the invisible man.
Pompey games to watch, sadly none, unless Chix can carry out his promised mobility cure.
