Surprise, surprise Manyoo pair ‘escape punishment’

What a surprise ‘Rudolph’ aka Sir Alex Ferguson and his trusty sidekick, Carlos Queiroz – the one that does ‘the moaning’ on the BBC as Rudolph will no longer talk to them – have both got away with comments made after we beat Manyoo in the FA cup quarter final in March…

Because we ‘had the nerve’ to go into their backyard and beat them the pair decided that it was right and fair to blame anyone and everyone for their defeat, ‘the referee is a cheat as he did not give us a penalty, but he gave them, a visiting team one’, ‘they beat up our players – who need more protection than they get from thugs like Diarra and Distin’ and ‘Keith Hackett needs to start doing his job properly’ were just some of the whines they had, and they were some of the more pleasant things!

All of this detracted from the fact that we went to Manyoo and beat them, something that few teams do, particularly ‘little Portsmouth’, so it ended up being ‘all about Manyoo’ as always, with us losing out on the chance of getting so much more praise, as we should have for that achievement.

Having ‘successfully argued their cases’ the pair has been cleared of ‘improper conduct’ and will have no further action against them from the spineless FA, who would have no doubt chucked the book at Harry Redknapp, Joe Jordan and Tony Adams for such things, or most other managers and coaches for that matter!

A statement on The FA’s official website read: ‘at an independent Regulatory Commission hearing today, charges against Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and assistant manager Carlos Queiroz were found not proved.’

Clearly this case must have been put to the Welsh FA then…
