Remaining semi tickets sell out

The final 1,180 tickets for this weekend’s semi final with West Brom have now sold, with the final tickets purchase around midday today.

In order to obtain one of these remaining tickets you had to queue up at the ticket office and hope to be within this amount – with 2 tickets per person it does not take a genius to work out that to have any chance, assuming each person took their allotted 2 tickets, you would have had to be the 590th person at least in the queue? a queue which started forming as long ago as Sunday, but really gathered momentum from Monday night – my hat goes off to those of you that have done this.

So that is it, all 33,000 tickets have sold out – no doubt we will see a fair few change hands on the black market but as far as a ‘legitimate sale’ goes that is your lot, these will be no more.

We are now on the home straight to Wembley, hopefully if you really, really wanted a ticket and really, really deserved it you have got one? We just have to count down the days now until the main event – god it better not be a disappointment after all of this!

So come on then lets see a show of hands ‘who is going to Wembley?’ – Out of those going who queued up to get a ticket today?
