Player futures to be sorted next week

The News is reporting that next week will see the futures of several Pompey players decided, with Harry Redknapp also discussing transfer targets with Peter Storrie

Kanu is one of them who needs his future clarified, although Storrie has told Radio Solent that an offer ‘is on the table for him’, he just needs to sign it. If the offer has been made then it should not take him long to put his signature to it as he has said all he wants is a new deal – so that should be simple?

On loan pair Milan Baros and Lucien Aubey will find out if there loans will become permanent moves – although I suspect neither will be with the club next season to be honest…

Sean Davis and Lauren only have a year left on their current deals so they could be moved on – Davis is being ‘linked’ to others although Lauren keeps saying he wants to stay.

It is also ‘said’ that the pair, along with Baros were not at the victory parade which suggests they could be moving on? I honestly cannot remember if they were missing, but cannot recall the names being called out to be honest…

Franck Songo’o has been offered a new contract, but this has apparently not yet been signed and he could have other offers. I do not think it is any secret that I like the fella, so I hope that he signs it and gets a chance next season.

Also the future of Tony Adams needs to be clarified once and for all, but I do not think we have much to worry about here as it looks like he will be staying for at least ‘one last year’.

All in all my own personal opinion on these mentioned is that Kanu, Songo’o and Adams will stay, the rest will probably make way over the summer – along with a few others names of course…
