Happy birthday to Steve Claridge and Harald Wapenaar – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.
Super Stevie Claridge will always be recalled, and fondly, by myself. However, I’ve got to admit, I’m disappointed he’s never been given a chance to return as Pompey manager, I wouldn’t want him again I do not think? I remember, not much about him truth be told, Wapenaar from his brief spell at Fratton Park too.

Not too many games played in recent years, but I can claim the most recent, Millwall, in 2012 when Pompey lost at Fratton.
