Happy birthday to Hugh Davey and Dick Pearson – the Pompey players from the Blues’ past born on this day.
Quite obviously Davey was well before my time – that of anyone in fact – and isn’t a player I can claim to know anything about.
Also before my time, Pearson is another unknown Pompey commodity to me and one that probably wasn’t witnessed by anyone reading on?
