Jamal Lowe’s performance was seen as the best one from a Pompey player against Southend on Saturday.

Having been asked to vote – based on your experience of the game as a watching one at Roots Hall or listening on the radio – with 73% Lowe got this well ahead of anyone else – Luke McGee was the closest challenger with 15% – to win the Vital Pompey MotM poll.

Lowe, in all honesty, hasn’t been delivering of late, actually this season as a whole all things considered, but all being well this can be the start of a string of consistent showings and see the forward showing his best again, much as he had following his arrival last term.

I wasn’t in Essex so I go with the masses when voting for Lowe. However, it is time to move on; next up we travel again, going to Highbury to face Fleetwood this evening.

Ahead of this we’re looking for your views, as always, on what you think and how you feel this will go? That requires you to vote on the latest poll – on the front pages or in the forum – in one of ways given.

You’ll have until kick-off to do this, to also make a prediction in the Pompey Predictions League for this game too.
