Matty Taylor has told setanta sports that Pompey have accepted bids from 2 premier league clubs, although it has not been revealed which clubs have seen offers accepted or for how much, and he has not spoken to either yet: ‘the latest on my situation is that I had a call from my agent Rob Segal on Wednesday telling me Portsmouth had accepted an offer from two Premier League clubs.

‘I am waiting for the green light to speak to the two clubs; hopefully the situation will be sorted out sooner rather than later.

‘I’ve tried to keep the fans in the loop all the way through and I want them to know that there has never been a transfer request from me.

‘Obviously I expressed my wish to play football two months ago and Portsmouth have responded by accepting the two offers.

‘All I want is the chance to start playing regular football, that’s what it has always been about, and hopefully soon this blog will be about a goal I’ve scored rather than where I’m playing my football’.

By accepting bids it is clear that he is no longer wanted at the club.

So fellas it looks as though the Taylor situation could be coming to a head sooner, rather than later – which is something that most of us would rather see, it is not something we want to see drag on.

It will be interesting to see if he features today? Which I would doubt…
