I have just been contacted by a producer from Match of the Day 2 – those that watch motd2 will know that once a week Kevin Day travels to a particular ground and talks to the fans of the chosen team – this week Pompey are the focus of his attention and they could be interested in using some of us from Vital Pompey?
The producer, John Nicholson had contacted me asking if I could – or I knew of anyone – that could help him out. Sadly as I will not be at the game this week – Everton and Villa back to back has wiped me out – I cannot do it personally, but maybe some of you fellas would be interested?
This is what John said in his email…
I’m a producer for Match of the Day 2 and I was wondering if someone at your site might be able to help me.
Kevin Day and myself are coming to Fratton Park on Saturday for the Spurs game to talk to some Portsmouth fans. We’d like to talk to fans who have seen the side at home and away this season and would like their opinions on why they think Pompey are unbelievable away from home but don’t see to be able to score at Fratton Park, not since scoring 7 against Reading anyway!!
If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in being interviewed on TV I’d really appreciate you getting in touch.
We’d be particularly interested to hear from opinionated, eloquent, genuine fans who would be able to give a considered view on their team.

I am a really shy person, but nowhere near as shy as I used to be but if I was going to the game I would do this as I could talk Pompey all day long. I am opinionated, like to think I am eloquent, most certainly am genuine and could give a fair view on Pompey but sadly it is not to be.
I have contacted John and told him that I feel sure that Vital Pompey has more than a few suitable candidates so if this is for you go for it!
