He opted for a loan move to Forest instead in the end.
Well, the ‘links’ to the 30-year-old have returned…
According to The Mail Konchesky does want to come to Fratton this time around and should this happen he would come in on a season long loan from Liverpool.
‘Competition’ for the former England man would come from Wolves so the lure of staying in the premier league could do it for him?
By all accounts this, and not simply because we have been linked before, is a ‘rumour’ that could well have some legs though.
