Pompey need to keep Frogmore and that sailor bloke that stands by the tunnel! Not my vote, yours – although these findings from The Rabbi’s poll are thoughts I share.
To be honest I am not really a big fan of Frogmore, the blue frog just irritates me, but the kids like him so for that simple fact I would be happy for us to keep him rather than take him to the nearest pond and leave him in it.
As far as the ‘sailor bloke who stands by the tunnel’ is concerned I am a bit of a sentimental fool and as this particular character has such a connection with Pompey I feel that we need to be keeping this character for all time. Some things you outgrow, or have to move on from – the Portsmouth by Mike Oldfield music we recently spoke about for example – but the sailor will never be outgrown, will it?
