It must be Crouch’s goal/Cranie to join Linvoy

It is still not clear who will actually get the 3rd goal that Pompey scored against Everton yesterday, but surely this must be credited to Peter Crouch

Whilst the video replays clearly show that Jermain Defoe’s initial lob, which was fantastic, had actually crashed back off the bar and crossed the line, it so it was his goal as the linesman did not flag for a goal – so he was not giving it – as Crouch followed up to head home it has got to be his goal?

The ‘dubious goal panel’ cannot take the goal away from him and award to Defoe as had Crouch not followed up to head home would the goal have even been given?

Judging by the lack of a flag from the linesman you would think no – so on that basis had Crouch not headed home we would not have been awarded the 3rd goal, hence this must be his goal…

==========

According to ‘reports’ on sky sports we are going to be loaning Martin Cranie to Charlton – where he will join Linvoy Primus – for 6-months, so in essence the season.

This is a deal that has been spoken about several times over the months and is one you suspect we would welcome as it would raise a little money – but also gives him 1st team football, although by doing this we cannot be moaning about being down to ‘the bare bones’ should this happen…

I still think that Cranie has a fantastic future ahead of him, so I hope that this is a loan move and nothing more, and we have not included the ‘option to buy’…
