Our defence of the FA cup, yep that is Portsmouth Football Club’s defence, although despite the shockingly poor coverage we have received as such and the fact that the media bandwagon are intent on portraying it as ‘Harry Redknapp’s FA cup defence’ will continue at Fratton ‘if’ we overcome Bristol City in our 3rd round replay a week Tuesday.
If we do get through, and I pray we do, then the winner of the Histon and Swansea game awaits – although that is a game that had to be rearranged and ‘if’ not settled on its rearranged date then the 4th round meeting with whoever will have to be rescheduled.
Hopefully, to keep it simple – and fit in with my own pre-booked travel plans – we can win, Histon and Swansea can sort out their game at the first time of asking and we can have a game on the Saturday anytime from 3pm onwards, win and move into round 5, easy in theory…
Well, Redknapp will continue ‘his defence’ at Old Trafford again in round 4, providing Manyoo beat Scum today of course – a rare occasion where I will want Manyoo to win, well that will make two rare occasions!
