Ahead of the league two kick-off at Fratton against Oxford tomorrow, which is now officially a sell-out, Pompey have brought in another player.
Bondz N’Gala will be a familiar name to Pompey fans as he has spent time with us on trial previously, he turned out in the 5-0 win over Havant at the start of pre-season.
In pretty much the only ‘déjà vu’ moment to the start of last season, as a then league one club, we have dished out a short-term contract as opposed to a longer-term one.
At the moment the former Stevenage defender has only been given a one-month deal, which I think is a sensible move as it does not commit us to something too long-term if we are not quite sure if it is a right fit for us, and of course him.
He now has a month to prove he is worth something more…
