So, we have some 15 players out of contract in the summer (or seeing their loans with Pompey end) it is almost time to decide who deserves a new contract and who does not deserve the drippings from my nose, well ours noses!
I was going to look at them all together, but I think I will do them one at a time… Simple question, and as the bearded one would say, ‘deal or no deal?’

Last season he came in and did a job when asked, but has always seemed to have suspect hamstrings despite having what are the biggest legs I have probably ever seen a Pompey player have!
He seems far less effective this season, and actually worries me big time when he comes in as he is unable to get forward with any effect and defensively he seems to have slipped, I could even say looks suspect…
At the stage that he is in at his career I would imagine that he will be looking for regular 1st team football, and chances are he will not – or should that be should not, get that here next season so chances are this will be the last season we see him, but he will not be making a third return to Fratton!
Deal or no deal? No deal.
I would not give him a deal, I suspect we will offer him one on reduce wages claiming we want to keep him, but as these wages are so reduced he will turn it down and move on, with us claiming disappointment but him a ‘lack of a good enough deal’.
