Saturday was one of those days when it couldn’t really have been any better wasn’t it!
Perhaps a 1st half goal our dominance probably deserved would have made it ‘near perfect’, that being said we didn’t really create clear cut openings despite the possession, but we looked a threat and played some good football.
Finally the breakthrough came when Gareth Evans headed home with ‘some aplomb’, as they say, to give us the lead with his debut goal.
That was followed up by Kyle Bennett’s debut double, after his assist for Evans’ goal, to wrap up the 3-0 win.
