A date has been set for Peter Storrie to appear before a City of Westminster magistrate in answer to his charge of tax evasion – this will take place on 16th November, which is during the next international break.
As we all know Storrie was charged last month over an alledged payment in relation to the transfer involving Amdy Fay to Pompey in 2003, a payment that is ‘claimed’ to have been made in such a way a to avoid tax and nation insurance payments being made.
He has maintained his innocence and will ‘defend the allegations in the strongest possible terms’ with him ‘confident that he will be exonerated.’
