It’s nearly the end of the week so it must mean another edition of ‘Chew The Fat’
As always there are loads of topics to discuss during this evenings debate and as is the norm I’ll be live and on line only on Vital Pompey from approx. 7:30 seeking your views and giving my opinion on the hot topics of the week.
I’ll chat about anything Pompey however tenuous, so just toss in the subject you want to discuss and we will take it from there.
But to get you thinking, how about..
The No.13 Shirt – It’s been mooted in some quarters that Stephen Henderson will be given the No.13 squad number this season a number which many supporters believe was retired after the death of Aaron Flahavan ten years ago next month.
The club claim that No.13 was never ‘officially’ retired and has been used (a couple of times) since Aaron’s death, yet many fans still feel that the number should not used and would like it officially retired
What’s you view ?
Should we (the fans) request that the club re-think this issue especially as it is the 10th anniversary of Aaron’s death and in fairness if anybody was entitled to wear the No.13 it would have been his brother Darryl last season – Yet he wore No.37
Cotterill Bashing – Once again this week I have witnessed an unhealthy trend towards what seems to be Pompey’s latest sport – Bashing Steve Cotterill – It doesn’t seem to matter what the poor bloke says or does some fans take to the boards and have really got it in for him- Surely it’s about time this stopped.
Who wants to join me in bashing those bash Cotterill ?
Join my merry throng or better still blame SC for the latest increase in petrol or whatever and see what reaction you get 😉
Friendlies – Did you go the Westleigh Park on Monday or are you going to Fratton at the weekend to watch the blues in action against Chelski – Let me know what you witnessed or what you are expecting from a near full house on Saturday
Those are just a few ideas for discussion, but as I say every week … It’s your agenda and anything goes!
Those that have taken part in any of the previous editions of ‘Chew The Fat’ will no doubt testify that a lively discussion is always had by all.
