Wembley, Wembley, we’re the famous Portsmouth City and we’re off to Wembley? and we now know who our semi final opponents – yep semi final! – will be.
Standing between us and an FA cup final appearance, and a return to Wembley a month later are West Brom. Obviously Barnsley face Cardiff in the other semi.
If anyone tells you that we have it easy to win the cup they are a fool, we are not guaranteed of anything, and taking it for granted would see us lose? but of course we will probably never, ever have a better chance than this again to win the greatest cup competition in the world – we must take this now, and as I keep saying ‘our name is on the cup this season’, so I am not changing my mind now.
I will be going to Wembley, unless the gods conspire against me in the cruellest of possible twists of fates looking – not expecting – to be making this journey again a month or so later!
Saturday 5th, or Sunday 6th April 2008 are the dates for the diary fellas, those that can make it, and deserve to go will be desperate to get there, I just hope those that are able to make it and truly deserve to make it do get the tickets to share in this unbelievable experience.
Some muppet said the FA cup ‘died’ over the weekend, but tell that to the fans off all the teams left in the cup who will be clambering for tickets for these semi finals, I can almost guarantee that we would be able to easily sell our allocation twice over, as said though I just pray that those who truly deserve the tickets get them?
