It is something that was expected to happen anyway, although today we HAVE had the confirmation that the high court has declared out administration valid, as a result the winding-up order against us has been suspended.
With our admin – just in case you have forgotten, to make sure you are aware, as every media outlet makes us fully aware time and time again, we become the ‘first premier league side to do as a result – now able to become ‘official’ as such Admin Andy will now meet with the premier league who will then issue our 9pt deduction for entering into admin, unless we have some evidence to support a case to the contrary…
Either way, not being defeatist – just realistic, we are still going down. Although having a club IS the most important thing.
Of course he will talk with them about the possibility of selling players outside or the transfer window and/or seeing parachute payments paid in advance – something that I feel is ‘probably’ going to be denied on both counts, and in many ways I have to say this is probably the right thing.
Whatever though, we can now fully focus on the admin process, well Admin Andy can as we look to move on to a more ‘stable’ future…
