What made you support Plymouth mate?
I was born in Plymouth so it’s only natural to support your hometown team, plus we do seem a bit different to other teams – a different name, we play in green and are cut-off from the rest of the country.

I live just outside of Plymouth – and have for about 20 years – now, so I know that the way Ian Holloway left to join Leicester and Milan Mandaric wasn’t really perceived very well – what are your thoughts on the fella and his departure?
It wasn’t just his leaving Argyle that angered the fans, although it was a shock, but it was the manner in which Holloway left. He kept preaching about loyalty and “in it” for the long haul and then just left!

His departure has ruined Argyle’s season, we were on course for a play-off position but with all the disruption and players leaving we are free falling down the league.

Paul ‘scummer’ Sturrock has returned. He did a fantastic job first time round how are things being portrayed at your end this time so far?
After the shock waves of Holloway leaving had died down, Argyle needed a steady hand and Sturrock was an excellent choice. He will set down some long term plans but I think our play-off hopes have gone for this season.

How do you rate how your season is going? Will the fine start – when promotion looked possible – fade away into nothingness or can he kick start things again?
Up to when Holloway left we were having a fine season. It appears that Sturrock has given up on this season and is building for next season with so many new players coming in. That’s a pity really, we may never get another chance.

What about Pompey, have you seen much of us this season – if so how well do think we can do?
I’ve only seen highlights of your games on the smug Match of the Day programme.

Portsmouth look a strong, athletic and physical side but you also play some good football and it’s good to see one of the so-called lesser teams near the top of the table.

Who is the Plymouth danger man that Pompey should watch?
That would be telling! But there’s Peter Halmosi our Hungarian winger, then there’s David Norris if he hasn’t left the club by Saturday. Also look out for our strikers Easter and Fallon and at set pieces there’s our Beast Timar and his centre back partner Seip. So pretty much the whole team!

If you could take any Pompey player from our squad and put him in yours, who would it be and why?
Well the obvious answer is Benjani, goal scorers are worth their weight in gold.

Go on – who is going to win and carry on the quest for FA cup glory, Pompey or Plymouth?
