Pompey would get a ‘great point away from Stamford Bridge’ were the thoughts prior to the game with Chelski, not my vote, yours – and these findings from stfc ballboy’s poll are thoughts I did not agree with as I did really believe we could have won!
We were well an truly spanked, Chelski were fantastic but we were also very poor.
Plenty of views and words have been shared on this so there is no need to go over them again. What we do now is just pick ourselves up, dust ourselves down and make sure we show a vast improvement against Manyoo on Monday. Even if we lose again, so long as we give a good account for ourselves that would be acceptable for most of us wouldn’t it?
To be fair ‘the loss – waste of time’ option did finish only slightly behind the get a ‘great point away from Stamford Bridge’ winning vote, so we were not voting with complete bias…
