What a shocker

Well, we knew this season would have highs and lows, unfortunately there have been probably more lows so far, York was a pivotal moment in our season so far, since that defeat performances have lifted somewhat, until now.

After Saturdays slow start at Stevenage, Pompey did it again Wales, this time like so often this term, we were behind inside the first ten minutes, N’Gala and Carson got in a right mix and another soft goal was conceded. The lead was doubled quickly after, this time a free header did the damage.

Pompey have become a soft touch again in the last two cup matches, although on Saturday we fought hard with ten men in the second half, dominating possession and creating chances, this time we seemed to accept defeat against ten men, even conceeding another goal in the process.

AFC Wimbledon are next up, again on the road, the defence needs to find some steel again, otherwise the progress in recent weeks will count for nothing.
