Pompey secured a win over Notts County in League 2 on Easter Monday.

Get in… Pompey ARE officially returning to league one following a 3-1 win at Notts County – leaders Doncaster can technically be caught, as can second-placed Plymouth, but the Blues will probably finish third?

Yes, we would have preferred to win the championship but second or third, it’s the same thing… promotion!!

Former Pompey defender Richard Duffy’s reckless challenge on Kal Naismith saw Gareth Evans open the scoring from the spot.

After Notts County drew level Jamal Lowe came off the bench to score the first of his brace on 77 minutes – the clincher came in the 90th minute when the forward showed another fine finish to see Pompey to promotion.

Who was the Blues MotM? That’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote.

Did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer the most?
