Varney in and Halford is close

We are yet to hear anything official, although this will come later today according to The News, but a double signing has been made.

Steve Cotterill has been talking in The News about the ‘double swoop’ for Luke Varney and Stephen Henderson.

I look forward to them being officially confirmed shortly, Henderson apparently signed yesterday but still nothing is confirmed.

Awaiting this I will bang on, again, about my ‘disappointment’ that these official-unofficial signings are being announced in a local paper before they are the official website. This is not the way this should be…

Another coming back to PFC is Greg Halford.

‘Rumours’ of a return have intensified this week and Cotterill has said: ‘Halford is close. That could happen this week.’
