Gino’s Fact of the Week

Jimmy Dickinson missed just one FA Cup tie in 18 years. His first FA Cup game was in January 1947 (A 3-2 victory over Doncaster Rovers) and he played 50 FA Cup games ending in a 3-2 defeat at Wolverhampton in January 1965. The only FA Cup game he missed in between was a tie at Bristol Rovers in 1955, which Pompey lost 2-1.
