That is not how it was, was it?

Quite what is going to happen with SAF’s takeover very much remains unclear now – the impression being given by Peter Storrie and Paul Hart – who it is said SAF would sack if he came in – was that SAF would not be completing his takeover… Although he remains ‘confident’, not as much so now it would seem, that he will?

The Mirror’s article, from an old favourite Alan Nixon, to me is not a true reflection of what really went down on Saturday – so this leaves me wondering how much of a ‘true reflection’ the rest is?

He says that ‘Portsmouth are on the verge of a major crisis’ due to SAF’s takeover on the brink of collapse.

Which leaves Storrie now ‘hurriedly setting up talks with rival bidders and backers as the troubled club faces an uncertain future without new finance,’ well from the sounds of it Storrie seems ‘pretty confident’ that something was being lined – so, as far as something not going through I remain as sure that a takeover will happen as I always have been…

The club knew that SAF planned to turn up at the weekend for the Fulham game so for The Mirror to say ‘Al Fahim went to the Fulham game unannounced’ for me is wrong as are the thoughts that he ‘left before the final whistle after hearing some chants aimed against him.’

I cannot say that I heard any chants aimed at him and also know for a fact that he was out by the player’s car park talking with fans, having his photo taken with them and chatting, and that was after the full time whistle around 5.15ish.

Some reports have ‘claimed’ that SAF had been given a deadline to complete the deal by, this is something that has been denied, but there report says that ‘the takeover offer by the Arab may now be withdrawn in the next 48 hours’ – so, which one is it media world?

Is it SAF pulling out or Pompey turning him away? Is this even the case… To be honest I do not really care who takes over, so long as someone does!

Although that said we need whoever this someone(s) is to come in and be able to deliver what we need, and lets just do this now eh, the whole process has really dragged on far too long…

I still feel that whatever does happen, and still feel something will – not so sure it will be SAF’s deal now to be honest – but do not think it will be announced until after the transfer window closes?
