Surely we can get at least one arrival!?

Naming only 3 outfield subs against Boro at the weekend, which included a 37-year-old only signed on a ‘month-to-month’ contract the day before, was something that most of us thought would make it ‘highly likely’ that reinforcements would come this week…

Well, naming only 2 against Barnet, was even worse!

Defeat at Fratton by the league two side was worse actually…

If we do not bring in even at least 1 player, on loan even, before Brighton I would be astonished – surely we must be able to bring in a loanee at least?

With all due respect to Boro, I fear that the attacking power that Brighton have will means that if they get their noses in front this weekend then they will not be letting us back into the game so easily.

If we have to go ‘chasing the game’ then their attacking ability would ‘probably’ see them take advantage and score more – and given the lack of ‘attacking power’ of our own getting back into a game is not going to be easy…

As someone said to me last night ‘I ascribe to ‘quality over quantity’ but this is stupid!’

Can you disagree with that?

Once again I will say that I have little doubt the club are working hard to bring in players but we have to work even harder, an arrival – at least one, and at least a loanee – is essential in the coming days…
