Still at the foot

When we played Chelski on Wednesday, whilst most might have expected a defeat the majority of us were left gutted by this in the end – today we were ALL praying for a Chelski win, and they let us down…

They were held to a 1-1 win at Upton Park by West Ham, who I must admit played really well to be fair and were hard done by for the penalty that earned Chelski a point, which they arguably did not deserve! Following this we remain rooted to the foot of the table, for now and WILL be bottom at Christmas.

‘If’ we can get a win over West Ham on Boxing Day, and ‘if’ other results go for us then we ‘could’ be very, very much looking at a much brighter end to 2009, and ‘might’ even move out of the bottom 3 before we face Arsenal, who we will look to end the year against on a mighty high, hopefully…

Alas, lets not get too ahead of ourselves, and lets ALSO not get too caught up with the fact that we stay bottom, lets continue to enjoy our win over Liverpool for the time being and look ahead to West Ham first and foremost, phase one of my ‘4-6pts master plan’ from the Liverpool and West Ham games is complete.

Remember, the season ends in May, how it looks at Christmas could mean nothing – although, and lets be honest, it is probably looking a lot better now than many would have expect it to, right?
