Following the dramatic news that Harry Redknapp was arrested in relation to the Football Corruption investigation, the Pompey boss came out with all guns blazing blasting the Police for arriving to his house at 6am with photographers from national tabloids, search his house whilst his wife was home alone. Redknapp was watching the Stuttgart vs Rangers match in the Champions League and was in transit on his way back to the country when police arrived.

Redknapp, who had thrown his name into the hat for the England job, denied he did anything that could be seen as wrong, claiming that the club has never carried out any transfer in an unjust manner. He also believes staunchly that he is only involved because he is high profile.

The 60-year old was arrested along with Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie, ex-Chairman Milan Mandaric, former player Amdy Faye, now of Glasgow Rangers, and his agent Willie McKay.
