The traditional Pompey Predictions League (#PompeyPredictionsLeague) continued in midweek with Dagenham at Fratton.
We needed our winless run to end, our hat-trick of defeats in fact, to end and thankfully it did!
As with most, if not all, midweek games these days at Fratton I was not in attendance. I sounded ‘ok’ listening but not brilliant but the main thing, the most important thing, was that we won.
Perhaps 3-0 was a little flattering but all being well that win will see some confidence restored and we can build on this going forward…
Speaking of confidence, this was high among us that we would win, so a good number picked up points. In fact quite a few were a Dagenham goal out from being spot on, as it was though as they did not think Dagenham would score steaming hit the nail on the head to score 20pts.
With 5pts collected, a first for a few games, uspompeyfan not only retained top spot for a 4th game running but moved onto 75pts.
Scoring 5pts allowed moley2 to keep 2nd place on 55pts, with that 20pts helping steaming up to 3rd, also on 55pts
