Pompey’s injury list is increasing after yet another is now in the treatment room at Fratton Park.

After yesterday’s superb 2-1 win over Manchester United, Pompey are now counting the cost as news emerged of yet another defender out for tomorrow’s clash at Watford.

Lauren has joined Sol Campbell and Glen Johnson on the treatment table after he has sustained a thigh injury during the match at Fratton Park against United. Also in doubt is Gary O’Neil who too has a thigh injury.

After Pompey’s fine win over the Premiership leaders, many would have seen tomorrow’s match at Watford as the perfect springboard to continue their quest for Europe, but the latest injuries will cause anxiety for Harry Redknapp as he seeks to find alternative cover for a patched up defence.

One other alteration appears to be that of Lualua who is reported as being set to start at Vicarage Road.
