The Pompey predictions league continued on New Years Day at Southend, even though the last update should have been Accy Stanley last weekend but that was called-off.
In all honesty to think that Pompey would lose at Roots Hall was not, for me, negative it was more realistic.
So, when this was the case it was not a surprise although the manor in which Southend secured a 2-1 win in injury-time was a real gutter!
A number went with their heads and not their hearts, so a good few picked up points for that game but there were not perfect scores as it was either 3-1, 2-0 or 1-0 that most went for.
There was no change in the top 3 again.
Morgan retained top spot for a 3rd game, 5pts collected took them onto 110pts in total.
5pts was also collected by toffee74, that meant they kept 2nd place on 105pts overall.
Son Of Wiggy scored nothing again but remains in 3rd on 85pts overall.
