The Pompey Predictions League is very much part of this site now isn’t it? Would it be the same without it – I’m not sure it would to be honest with you.
Well, we managed back-to-back wins but couldn’t extend this to two as a nightmare start at the Keepmoat Stadium gave Pompey too much to do – eventually the Blues were beaten 2-1 on Tuesday.

Two down before most people’s hot Bovril had cooled to drinking temperature meant we were always going to struggle against a team who dominated us last season in the corresponding fixture. It put a mild dent into my day seeing the result during a very busy spell at work, but I’m not overly surprised.
That being said, USPF was the only person who guessed the 2-1 defeat correctly and is hitting form with 2-correct in a row which has lifted a dismal 5 points into 45 and joint 4th place overall, joining the pack. Morgan grabbed a 5 point consolation as the only other point scorer and is now only 5 points behind Jim Smith`s Wig who has seen his lead drop by 20 points in two games.
