The Pompey Predictions League is very much part of this site now isn’t it? Would it be the same without it – I’m not sure it would to be honest with you.
Yet again Pompey’s inability to string together a run of results saw a victory followed up by a defeat when Oldham left Fratton Park with a 2-1 win – in reality had it been a spanking it wouldn’t have been unjust as the Blues were woeful.
Over to uspompeyfan with his latest update to the 2017-18 season…
Consistent in our inconsistency as we alternated wins and losses. However, this was disappointing and another poor home serving for patient Pompey fans. That said, we play like what we are, a mid table team who won`t go down and to be fair, probably won`t go up either.
Pompey fans were optimistic as no one scored any points for the defeat, leaving the table unchanged with Jim Smith`s Wig leading Morgan by 5 points.
The top two players were joined by Steaming as the 3 players tied for top September scorer.
