‘David James was Pompey’s man of the match against Villa’, not my vote, yours – although these findings from pompeyrug’s poll are thoughts that I guess I would agree with to be honest…

James made several really good saves, the first of which came from his own teammate actually when Aaron Mokoena sent a bullet header goal bound, which thankfully James turned over – from the resulting corner the South African looked like he was going to try it again! Another good save that sticks in my mind came in the 2nd half when he turned away a long-range effort.

So, all in all I can see why James got this to be fair.

Although I actually thought that Michael Brown was our best outfield player so I am disappointed to see him so far behind Jamie O’Hara. We need big Papa Bouba Diop back and when he is if I was selecting the side I think Mokoena would be more under threat than Brown…

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys…
