Pompey’s reward for their win at Stevenage on Monday night is a home draw with fellow Championship side Crystal Palace. It is a meeting of two clubs hopefully exiting Administration.
Pompey have met Palace twice before in the League Cup. Both of the meetings in 1976 and 1982 were in the First Round with the Eagles winning both over two legs.
